Job summary

The City of Bellevue seeks a confident, forward‑thinking Community Services Supervisor to lead the Parks Scheduling Office, oversee park and facility rentals, athletic field allocation, and special events. You will build strong partnerships with schools, departments and community groups to ensure safe, accessible public spaces and inclusive events.

You will manage budgets, pricing structures, marketing, and program goals while guiding a diverse staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university in recreation, business, or related field.
• Five or more years in recreation programming, management, and supervisory roles.
• Experience with athletic field scheduling, park site rentals, coordinating special events, and facility rentals.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Parks Scheduling Office operations and ensure fair permitting for parks, facilities, fields, and vendor programs.
• Supervise staff supporting rentals, scheduling, and community events.
• Coordinate facility and service needs with partners and manage Robinswood House contract.
• Chair the Citywide Special Events Committee and guide event planning.
