Qualifications

• Degree in recreation or business and 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with athletic field scheduling and park rentals.
• Ability to pass criminal background check.
• Strong political awareness and cultural competence.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff to maintain a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
• Develop policies, procedures, work plans, performance measures, and long-range strategies for rental and scheduling.
• Oversee daily operations of the Parks Scheduling Office and fair, transparent permitting.
• Manage Robinswood House contract and seasonal park vendor program.
• Coordinate facility needs with other departments and partners.
• Lead the Citywide Special Events Committee and event permitting process.
• Monitor budgets and pricing structures for programs and rentals.
• Supervise coordinators, administrative staff, and volunteers.
