Job summary

KAAUM Enterprises LLC is seeking a Community Based Services Coordinator in Colorado Springs to supervise direct support providers and ensure individualized day program plans are followed across multiple services. The role includes managing PRS files and coordinating with the CCB and PASA agencies.

The position requires driving, background checks, CPR/First Aid, Crisis Prevention Training, and flexible scheduling to meet service needs. Prior social services experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Background check and CAPS clearance required.
• Clean DMV record in accordance with state rules.
• Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid US drivers license.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification is required.
• Current Crisis Prevention Training certification (e.g., Safety Cares, Mandt, CPI).
• Provide proof of auto insurance with an active declaration page.
• Willing to adapt to schedule changes to meet PRS needs.
• Physical ability to perform duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison, advocate, and coordinate PRS involvement in opportunities like self-advocacy, vocational programming, transport, and community activities.
• Foster open communication with PRS families, Host Home Providers, and community agencies as needed.
• Implement and follow up on all support service recommendations.
• Ensure PRS transportation to activities with DSPser input and involvement.
• Participate in calendared company events and step in during staffing shortages.
• Monitor DSP performance and arrange training for direct care providers.
