Job summary

The Salvation Army of Kenosha is seeking a Social Services & Community Programs Coordinator to provide basic support and guidance to clients seeking assistance with emergency needs. You will perform intake, assess eligibility, and connect clients with referrals while maintaining accurate records in SIMS.

Responsibilities include coordinating services, facilitating access to Pathway of Hope, and supporting corps programs and fundraising events.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in a related field.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with driving clearance preferred.
• Must obtain Territorial Caseworker Certification within one year of hire.
• 2 years of experience in a social services agency or social work field.

Responsibilities

• Interview, evaluate, and determine eligibility for emergency services and referrals.
• Provide case management and connect clients with Salvation Army and community resources.
• Document client meetings and information in the Client Management System.
• Coordinate special events, volunteer participation, and program support.
