Job summary

Allegan County seeks a part-time Community Service Supervisor to oversee transportation and supervision of individuals sentenced to perform court-ordered community service. You will handle scheduling, maintain records, and support program development within the District or Circuit Court framework.

Starting wage is $24.26 per hour, with no benefits, up to 19.5 hours per week. Must be able to work weekends; High School Diploma or GED and a valid Michigan driver’s license required; drug screening

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in law enforcement or corrections is preferred but not required.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License.
• Candidate must pass a drug screen (including THC).

Responsibilities

• Perform roll call of Community Service Workers at designated times and areas.
• Collect and submit monies from workers and agencies.
• Transport workers to and from agencies using the Community Service program.
• Supervise workers onsite.
• Maintain calendar of worker and agency scheduling.
• Document incidents outside normal operation.
• Train and guide workers on proper tools and safety equipment.
