Catholic Charities is seeking a Full Time CSCA - Parkville School Parent Service Coordinator in Hartford, CT. This role supports the community school’s engagement plan and ensures effective parent communication through the FCSSP.

The coordinator will organize annual parent engagement strategies, coordinate workshops (in person and online), manage the Family Resource Center calendar, and track attendance data to drive outreach and participation goals.

Formación

• BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
• AA/AS degree preferred.
• Knowledge of public school systems helpful.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word and able to manage data.
• Bilingual candidates English and/or Spanish or Portuguese encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the development of the parent engagement plan on an annual basis.
• Coordinate activities in partnership with the school’s FCSSP.
• Secure community and school volunteers to provide parent workshops (in person and virtually).
• Deliver parent workshops as appropriate.
• Collaborate with parents and the FCSSP to identify programming and basic needs; find/create resources.
• Coordinate the monthly Family Resource Center calendar with the FCSSP.
• Ensure extensive communication with parents for After School Academy participants.
• Complete data entry and analysis related to parent attendance; develop outreach strategies to increase participation.
• With the Community Schools Coordinator, secure community partners to augment parent programs and activities.
• Other duties as required.
