Job summary

Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement Community is seeking a dedicated Community Response Team Member for a full-time shift (1pm–11:30am, rotating weekends). You will be a visible, reassuring presence across the campus, responding to emergencies, conducting safety checks, and supporting residents with care and professionalism.

Key duties include patrolling buildings and grounds, coordinating with EMS, completing incident reports, assisting with after-hours deliveries, conducting fire drills, and

Qualifications

• Calm under pressure and proactive in ensuring safety.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; experience in security is a plus.
• Ability to obtain Advanced First Aid certification within 90 days and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling community buildings and grounds regularly.
• Responding to emergency calls and coordinating with EMS.
• Completing incident reports and maintaining safety logs.
• Assisting with after-hours deliveries and resident support.
• Conducting fire drills and safety inspections.
• Managing wildlife control when necessary.
