Job summary

The Grandview by Erickson Senior Living in North Bethesda, Maryland is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Officer to implement the SES program under supervision. You will conduct regular interior and exterior patrols, provide relief staffing at the gatehouse, and respond to non-emergency service calls.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience in security preferred.
• Must be customer service oriented and able to document daily activities clearly.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior of buildings and grounds.
• Perform safety checks and inspections in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance.
• Receive and respond to non-emergency service calls from dispatch and security.
• Assist in community emergencies (fires, floods, severe weather, evacuations).
• Screen vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the community.
• Document visitors and vendors with appropriate parking passes and directions.
