Job summary
The Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department (CSCD) seeks a Community Resources Supervisor to lead staff coordinating employment, education, housing, and supportive services for individuals under supervision. You will ensure procedures are followed, documentation is accurate, and issues are escalated as needed.
Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field and at least three years of management experience coordinating community services
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related behavioral science field.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ management/supervisory experience.
- Experience coordinating community services/resources for justice-involved individuals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities of Community Resources staff and set priorities.
- Assign referrals, cases, and projects; monitor workload and timelines.
- Provide coaching and guidance on procedures, documentation, and client engagement.
- Review referrals for completeness and route them appropriately.
- Maintain case notes, service plans, referrals, outcomes, and system entries.
- Coordinate with supervision officers, regional staff, and community providers to ensure timely service connections.
