Job summary

El Paso Center for Children, Inc. is seeking a Family Support Specialist to provide direct services to families with youth 17 and younger. You will deliver evidence-based services, engage families, and connect them with community resources to promote well-being and resilience.

The role includes coordinating referrals, developing service plans, and collaborating with schools and partner agencies. A bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience are preferred, with bilingual abilities a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field required.
• At least one year of relevant program experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish and English preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and group sessions using evidence-based curricula (Why Try; Strengthening Families).
• Guide families in developing problem-solving skills, effective parenting, stress/conflict management, and positive communication.
• Coordinate referrals to FAYS Counselors or outside providers as needed.
• Conduct intake, assessment, and initial service plan development.
• Track and document time and services accurately to meet contract and reimbursement requirements.
• Maintain compliance with accreditation, licensing, and agency policies.
