Job summary

NERA is seeking a Resource Coordinator to ensure neighbors have access to food, programs, and community resources. You will oversee lobby operations, provide individualized guidance, manage purchases for programs, and coordinate with staff and partners to keep resources available and programs running smoothly.

The role requires nonprofit experience or related field, strong organizational and communication skills, and comfort with budgets and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

Oversee lobby operations during service hours to ensure welcoming, respectful, efficient service.
Provide individualized guidance and referrals to neighbors needing assistance accessing resources.
Develop and submit regular food orders through approved vendors; purchase food and supplies for programs.
Monitor budgets and purchasing within approved categories; obtain executive approval when required.
Prepare staff with up-to-date information on programs and resources; communicate changes.
Attend community meetings to build partnerships and relay information to staff.
Support other operational areas during staffing shortages as needed.
