Job summary

Worcester Community Action Council Inc. is seeking a Community Resource Navigator to assist individuals and families with navigation through public benefit eligibility and connection to community resources, aiming to improve access to basic needs and progress toward economic mobility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or HiSet equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree a plus.
• Experience in social/human services or related fields preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals.
• Knowledge of Central Massachusetts area resources preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals and families with navigation through public benefit eligibility.
• Connect clients to needed community resources to improve basic needs access.
• Collaborate with Resiliency Center team and report to the Director.
• Engage in ongoing learning and Mobility Mentoring-informed practices.
