Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a Clinical Rehab Liaison to cultivate referral relationships across a defined geographic territory, coordinating with physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, and payer representatives to support patient admissions.

The role emphasizes face-to-face engagement, territory development, market analysis, and education about our hospital programs and services within a collaborative, patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Current state professional clinical licensure and CPR certification required.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare tech experience preferred; nurse liaison or healthcare sales preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop business census based on strategic goals.
• Cultivate strong relationships within an assigned territory, prioritizing face-to-face connections.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on our hospital programs and services.
• Utilize market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Responds to and overcomes admission barriers and follows-up on admissions variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations to various groups about our services and outcomes.
