Job summary

The GEO Reentry Services LLC division is seeking a dedicated professional to coordinate pre-release and post-release community transition efforts for inmates within the CDCR system. You will manage a range of responsibilities from outreach presentations to documentation and collaboration with STOP, AOR, and transitional staff.

The role requires experience in case management and strong communication, organization, and driving capabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with case management and criminal justice populations preferred.
• Must qualify for gate clearances into CDCR institutions.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to understand models including CBT, addiction theories, and risk factors.
• Knowledge of California Treatment Initiative and reentry care continuum.
• Extensive knowledge of transitional processes between in-custody and community-based programs.
• Excellent English spelling and communication skills.
• Maturity to handle sensitive reentry treatment services.
• Ability to document and comply with program requirements.
• Strong report writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to train staff and manage transportation plans.

Responsibilities

• Provides interactive services to inmates and CDCR staff.
• Coordinates transportation with STOP Transportation Coordinator.
• Assists in development of community transition plans.
• Refer to community programming as needed.
• Maintain STOP Placement Office documentation and sign-in sheets.
• Conduct pre-release contacts and document in STOP case management files.
• Presentations to CDCR institutions within the Program Area; schedule with In-Prison Program Contractor.
