NFI Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a Community Engagement & Transition Specialist to support justice-involved individuals reentering the community through the STAR program in Lynn, MA.

The role emphasizes outreach, relationship-building, and connecting participants to essential services and resources. The position focuses on reducing barriers to care, promoting stability, and supporting long-term success with guidance and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in workforce development, reentry services, or related human services field.
• Strong engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in community-based settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach and engagement with assigned individuals in the community.
• Build and maintain connections with local resources and referral networks.
• Assist individuals in overcoming barriers to services (transportation, language, financial).
• Support applications for employment, housing, and public benefits.
• Accompany individuals to court appearances and appointments as needed.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and accountability to support program participation and goals.
• Coordinate transitions between services and providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
