Job summary

City of Idaho Falls is seeking an on-site Recreation Center attendant to provide excellent customer service, assist with program support and light custodial duties at the Recreation Center and other facilities.

The role includes greeting patrons, handling registrations, collecting fees, opening/closing the building, setting up facilities for league nights, and maintaining a safe environment while coordinating with staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school.
• Six months of experience in community-based recreation program or afterschool programs, or community/fitness center operations.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets the public and answers questions about Parks and Recreation.
• Collects fees for admission and program registrations; opens/closes the building.
• Sets up recreation center facilities for leagues; monitors activities and enforces policies.
• Responds to emergencies and completes incident/accident reports; performs light cleaning and maintenance.
