Job summary

The City of Idaho Falls is seeking an on-site Recreation Center Attendant to provide customer service, program support, and light custodial duties. You will help with registrations, facility setup, and supervision of part-time staff during activities.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and at least six months of experience in community recreation or related operations. The role requires evenings and weekends, and offers full benefits through the city.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school.
• Six months of experience in community-based recreation or related programs or operations.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience accepted.
• Working knowledge of English language.

Responsibilities

• Greet the public and respond to questions about Parks and Recreation.
• Collect admission and program fees, and register participants.
• Open/close the recreation center and manage building access.
• Set up facilities for leagues and events, and supervise staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate programs, order supplies, and maintain equipment inventories.
