Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Recreational Sports Coordinator to develop and oversee community sports programs in Riverton, UT. You will plan leagues, coordinate facilities, manage budgets, and serve as the main contact for participants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate or diploma in Sports Management or Recreation is a plus.
• Experience in coordinating recreational sports programs or events.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and execute diverse recreational sports leagues and tournaments for various age groups.
• Promote recreational programs and events to encourage community participation.
• Coordinate the scheduling and usage of local sports fields and facilities.
• Recruit, train, and supervise part-time staff and volunteers for recreational activities.
• Manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficient resource allocation.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain a positive environment for all participants.
