Job summary

Marlborough Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated administrative and program support specialist to assist in the smooth operation of year‑round recreational activities. You will work under the guidance of the Recreation Director/Assistant Director to design, supervise and implement engaging programs for the community.

The role requires collaboration with staff, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed, especially during the June‑September period.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent is required or qualifying.
• 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combinations are acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Knowledge of recreational management and program protocol is desirable.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, email, website design/maintenance and social media.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, supervision and implementation of year-round recreational programs.
