Job summary

Reservoir is seeking a Director of Therapeutic Recreation / Activities to develop and oversee engaging programs for residents at our Marlborough communities. You will lead a compassionate team, collaborating with interdisciplinary staff to tailor services to individual needs and preferences.

You will foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere, ensuring activities support residents’ psychological, social, and spiritual well-being while driving program effectiveness and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field.
• CTRS credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee therapeutic recreation programs for residents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess residents' needs and preferences.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the therapeutic recreation team.
• Organize and facilitate activities for recreation, exercise, relaxation, and expression to meet residents' needs.
• Create a warm, inclusive environment that encourages resident participation.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Assist families in exploring hobbies and leisure activities for residents.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation
