Job summary

City of Nashua seeks a Recreation Program Specialist to assist in a year-round municipal recreation program across summer, athletic, aquatic and community events. This is a full-time role based in Nashua, NH with daytime hours.

You will help plan, schedule, promote and deliver programs, coordinate with the Recreation Superintendent and staff, and perform other duties as assigned in support of residents’ leisure opportunities.

Responsibilities

• This position assists the Recreation Superintendent in conducting a year-round comprehensive municipal recreation program, including but not limited to summer programs, athletic programs, aquatic programs, community events, community trips, and other programs.
• Assists with programming, scheduling, public relations, marketing, and performs other duties as assigned.
