Job summary

The City of Cedar Park invites applications for a Recreation Coordinator for Adapted and Seniors programs. You will direct planning, supervision and scheduling of multi-generational and senior programs, ensuring quality experiences and safe operations at the Cedar Park Recreation Center.

Responsibilities include budgeting, contract management, and collaboration with city departments and community partners to deliver impactful programs and events. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Parks and Recreation administration, Therapeutic Recreation, or a closely related degree.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in supervision, operation and management of recreation facilities and programs.
• CTRS designation is preferred or obtainable within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, organize, supervise and schedule assigned recreation programs.
• Develop budgets, manage program revenues, attendance and operating costs.
• Coordinate events, tournaments and special projects and promote programs.
• Collaborate with other departments and community organizations; manage vendor contracts.
• Supervise staff schedules, safety procedures, and program compliance.
