Job summary

City of SeaTac's Community Recreation Specialist helps deliver high-quality recreation experiences for SeaTac residents. Under the Community Recreation Supervisor, you will plan, prepare, coordinate, and implement programs, oversee front desk operations, and support facility rentals and budget tracking.

This role requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, plus experience in facility operations and recreation programming.

Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement recreation programs for diverse groups.
  • Oversee facility rentals, scheduling, and front desk operations.
  • Train and supervise volunteers and part-time staff.
  • Maintain program records, reports, and accounts in recreation software.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve patron inquiries.
  • Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and revenue tracking.
  • Support marketing materials and outreach to communities.
