Job summary

Navy Region Southwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a proactive individual to support the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Community Recreation program in Monterey, CA. You will assist with events, information dissemination, registrations, and daily operations to enhance on-base recreation opportunities.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service skills, patience, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to promote leisure activities for military

Qualifications

• Combination of experience related to customer service and recreation activities.
• Ability to organize, plan, administer events and entertainment activities.
• Communicate effectively, both oral and written, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and information for Community Recreation programs.
• Manage event setup, registrations, and daily sales transactions.
• Maintain inventory controls and process rental/fee collections.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and promoting MWR programs and events.
• Support outreach and partnerships with on-base and off-base organizations.
