Job summary

Navy Region Southwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking staff to support the MWR Community Recreation program, including events, information resources, and community activities on base. Duties span rentals, registrations, inventory, and equipment maintenance to support a range of leisure programs.

The role involves customer service, event coordination, and administrative tasks across multiple programs, with occasional outdoor/out-of-doors activities and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or recreation activity-based roles.
• Ability to plan and administer special events and entertainment.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of recreation activities and Navy MWR mission.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service, information and support of Community Recreation programs and activities.
• Collects fees from customers for tickets, retail, rentals, classes, trips and events.
• Maintains daily sales accuracy and completes a DAR at end of shift.
• Assists in processing registrations and event signups.
• Checks in/out equipment, collects rental fees and inventories items.
