Job summary

BTST Services is seeking a PRP Counselor to provide individualized psychiatric rehabilitation services to clients from ages five and up in community settings across Maryland. This flexible, in-person role focuses on improving daily living skills, independence, self-advocacy, and community integration under IRPs, with most work taking place in clients' homes or local settings.

Qualifications

• Must have health-related degree or 30 credit hours toward health field.
• Experience documenting and communicating in clinical settings preferred.
• Ability to work independently in community-based settings and with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation services to clients (4–6 sessions per month).
• Develop and review Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRPs) with clients and rehab team.
• Help clients build daily living, coping, and self-advocacy skills.
• Identify barriers and connect clients with community resources and supports.
• Provide crisis support and notify supervisor as needed.
• Maintain timely client charts in the EHR per COMAR requirements.
• Participate in agency groups, activities, and monthly PRP meetings.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
