Job summary

August Rose Health Center in Glen Burnie, MD seeks an Adult PRP Counselor to support children and adolescents in building life skills and independence. This community-based role involves home visits, community settings, and telehealth where allowed, guiding clients through daily living, emotional regulation, and social skills per their IRP.

You'll collaborate with therapists, document progress, and ensure Medicaid and program standards while helping families navigate resources and plan

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health or PRP preferred.
• Ability to work in community settings and homes.
• Must pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychiatric rehabilitation interventions in IRP.
• Provide services in the community, home, office, school, or telehealth (as approved).
• Support skill-building in: Emotional regulation, Hygiene & daily living skills, Social skill development, Communication & problem-solving, Wellness management.
• Collaborate with therapists and treatment teams.
• Document progress and Medicaid-required forms.
• Travel within the community to support clients.
