Zusammenfassung

BTST Services LLC is seeking a PRP Direct Care Staff/Counselor to assess client needs and deliver supported living services, counseling, and crisis intervention in community, home, and office settings for youth and adults with mental health challenges.

You will develop IRPs every 3-6 months, document services, teach independence, and participate in trainings and meetings. The position offers full-time hours with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to communicate with compassion and empathy.

• Excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of cultural diversity and the special needs population.
• Health-related degree or progress toward it.
• One year of direct care experience in a supervised mental health setting.

Aufgaben

• Provide 4-6 direct service sessions per client per month as planned by the rehabilitation team.
• Develop and implement an IRP with the client every 3-6 months.
• Help clients resolve problems, identify resources and use resources effectively.
• Teach clients independence and self-advocacy.
• Perform crisis intervention as necessary.
• Maintain client charts and documentation per agency policies and COMAR regulations.
• Perform administrative tasks as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
