Job summary

Biomimicry Institute seeks a Manager, Community to lead membership, learning and engagement initiatives. You will translate priorities into detailed work plans, manage timelines, budgets and deliverables, and coordinate volunteers, partners and contributors to deliver meaningful participant experiences.

The role requires strong project management, excellent communication, and a passion for biomimicry. Remote work is supported with up to 10% travel for events and engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional background required.
• 5+ years in membership, community programs, adult learning, events, or related fields.
• Proven track record delivering membership and learning programs from planning to delivery.
• Experience designing or improving courses and learning experiences.
• Experience coordinating multiple contributors and stakeholders.
• Strong use of participation, engagement, and program data to improve delivery.
• Familiarity with community platforms, LMS, and virtual engagement tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned membership and community projects against objectives, timelines, budgets and participation goals.
• Translate projects into work plans with milestones, responsibilities and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate onboarding, member benefits, events, working groups and peer exchange.
• Coordinate facilitators, contractors, volunteers, partners, and internal contributors.
• Monitor progress, surface risks and resource needs early, resolve delivery issues.
• Implement engagement approaches and track effectiveness as directed by leadership.
• Deliver learning programs—courses, workshops, and events—with defined goals and revenue.
• Coordinate facilitators, registration, platforms, materials, and follow-up.
• Track outcomes, satisfaction, and revenue; report results for improvement.
• Document lessons learned and improve processes; support cross‑functional communications.
