Job summary

South Plains Food Bank is seeking a Programs Coordinator to support day-to-day community relations, assist partner agencies, and maintain professional relations with staff and external contacts. You will collaborate with the Senior Director of Programs to implement and manage community and partner agency programs.

The role emphasizes customer service, data collection, and coordination of trainings, events, and TEFAP/CSFP activities to help the local food distribution network.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in administrative support, and/or program management.
• Non-profit or Social Services experience (preferred).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) to effectively assist a diverse client population.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact by answering incoming phones professionally and promptly.
• Assist clients with information about food assistance programs, schedules, and eligibility.
• Assist clients with TEFAP applications, ensuring accurate and complete forms.
