Job summary

Good Shepherd Food Bank is seeking a Community Connections Specialist to manage relationships with partner agencies and donors across the designated service area. The role emphasizes collaboration, outreach, and program support within a statewide network.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Community Partnerships, you will conduct site visits, monitor compliance, and coordinate with logistics, research, and advancement teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in relationship management or community engagement in nonprofit setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Public speaking and facilitation of meetings.
• Diplomacy and solutions-oriented problem solving.
• Cultural competency with diverse communities.
• Ability to self-manage and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with partner agencies and donors to foster collaborations.
• Collaborate with partners to reduce barriers to food access and promote safe networks.
• Conduct outreach to expand partnerships and hunger-relief efforts.
• Represent GSFB at events, conferences, and distributions.
• Coordinate with internal departments to support partner needs and compliance.
• Monitor and support partner operations and data entry in systems.
