Centerstone in Kirksville, MO seeks a Prevention Project Specialist to lead community coalitions and implement evidence-based prevention initiatives. You will collaborate with local partners, assess needs, and help secure funding to drive sustained community impact.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Bachelor's with 1+ year of related experience in social services, prevention, public health, or community settings.
• Missouri Substance Abuse Prevention Associate (MSAPA) credential within 6 months of hire; SAPST within 9 months of hire.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for community coalitions, task forces, and prevention partners; provide guidance and technical assistance.
• Connect communities with evidence-based prevention programs, tools, and resources; facilitate trainings.
• Contribute to annual needs assessments, strategic plans, and data-driven program evaluations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; monitor grant deliverables and compliance.
