Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a full-time pharmacist to perform professional duties and processing of prescriptions at our Middletown, Ohio location. The role involves accurate dispensing and patient counseling, with a focus on high-quality service.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, with no weekends or holidays. Immunization administration is possible where allowed by state boards, and LAI training is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in state of Ohio.
• Certified immunizer.
• Willing to complete LAI training and administer LAI.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
