Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a full-time pharmacist in Middletown, Ohio. The role involves dispensing prescriptions, advising customers on medications, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Immunization administration is included where allowed by state boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or PharmD is required.
• Active Ohio pharmacist license is required.
• Certified immunizer is required.
• Willing to complete LAI training and administer LAI.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

Current pharmacist license in Ohio

Certified immunizer

Willing to complete LAI training and administer LAI
