Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Staff Pharmacist for our on-site pharmacies serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities. You will be part of a coordinated care team, ensuring patients receive the right medications and guidance.

The role involves dispensing, patient counseling, immunization administration where allowed, and strict adherence to state board regulations, with travel within the Johnstown/Indiana/Pittsburgh region as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in PA.
• Immunization certified or willing to obtain LAI license/certification.
• Ability to travel in the Johnstown/Indiana/Pittsburgh/McKeesport area.
• Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
