Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a Direct Support Professional in Fair Haven, NJ to work one-to-one with an adult with developmental disabilities. The role emphasizes mentorship, coaching, routine-building, and community participation.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, patient, and able to establish trust over time. Driving is required and onboarding/background checks will be completed as part of the process, with a posted schedule Tuesday and Thursday 2:30-6:30 and flexible weekends.

You May Spend Your Shift

• Participating in taking a 21-year-old modrately functioning individual with autism and ADHD to clubs and engaging with him there in various activities.
• Coaching daily living, communication, social, and independence skills.
• Helping establish positive routines and work toward individualized goals.
• Modeling problem-solving, appropriate communication, and healthy community participation.
• Supporting decision-making, self-advocacy, and confidence.
• Providing companionship and a consistent mentoring relationship.
• Maintaining safety and following individualized support instructions.
• Completing required documentation and staying in close communication with the Kindly team.
