Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one support for an adult with developmental disabilities in Parlin, NJ 08859. This role focuses on mentorship, coaching, and positive influence to promote independence and community participation.

The position requires reliability, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to follow individualized plans. Hours include Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoon shifts with driving on shift.

Qualifications

• Dependable, engaging, patient, and able to build rapport.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, education, recreation, behavioral health, human services, disability support, or caregiving is a plus.
• Able to commit reliably to Exact Schedule.
• Vehicle Required
• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.

• Helping establish positive routines and work toward individualized goals.

• Providing companionship and a consistent mentoring relationship.
• Maintaining safety and following individualized support instructions.
• Completing required documentation and staying in close communication with the Kindly team.
