Kindly Direct Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Atlantic City, NJ to work one-to-one with an adult with developmental disabilities. This part-time role offers meaningful mentorship, coaching, and a positive influence on daily routines and independence.

You will support community outings, coach living and social skills, help establish routines, maintain safety, complete required documentation, and communicate with the Kindly team. Driving is required.

You May Spend Your Shift

• Participating in community outings and recreational activities with the individual, such as going out to eat, playing video games, running errands, and exploring other activities based on his interests.

• Coaching daily living, communication, social, and independence skills.

• Helping establish positive routines and work toward individualized goals.

• Modeling problem-solving, appropriate communication, and healthy community participation.

• Supporting decision-making, self-advocacy, and confidence.

• Providing companionship and a consistent mentoring relationship.

• Maintaining safety and following individualized support instructions.

• Completing required documentation and staying in close communication with the Kindly team.

Qualifications

• Dependable, engaging, patient, and able to build rapport.

• Experience in mentoring, coaching, education, recreation, behavioral health, human services, disability support, or caregiving is a plus.

• Able to commit reliably to Tues & Fri 7:30am-11:30am.

• Driving required.

• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.
