Job summary

Goodman Community Center in Madison seeks a Community Partnerships Manager to develop and execute corporate giving strategies, grow partnerships, and lead fundraising initiatives. You will manage relationships with sponsors, coordinate volunteer opportunities, and work with the leadership team to drive major gifts.

The role requires 3+ years in nonprofit fundraising or partnerships, strong communication, and event planning skills, with occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years in corporate fundraising, partnerships, or foundation giving.
• Strong relationship-building and networking with business/community leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience planning fundraising events or community events.
• Proficiency with donor databases/CRM and related tech.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
• Professionalism, discretion, and handling confidential information.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and the GCC mission.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Goodman Community Center's corporate giving strategy to grow support.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with current and prospective partners.
• Build new partnerships by networking within the Madison business community.
• Create sponsorship and investment opportunities for businesses and organizations.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to strengthen donor relationships and secure major gifts.
• Coordinate corporate volunteer opportunities with programs and staff.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, stewardship reports, and donor communications.
• Manage sponsor recognition and fulfillment for events and partnerships.
• Plan Development-led fundraising events including budgets, timelines, logistics, and follow-up.
