Job summary

Habitat Dane is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to join the Development Team as the Individual Giving Manager in Madison, WI. You will lead annual fund and legacy giving, grow donor pipelines, and manage mid-level portfolios to support growth in affordable homeownership.

You will collaborate with communications and other departments, and opportunities exist for advancement into major gifts as the program expands.

Qualifications

Three or more years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
Proven ability to build relationships that lead to fundraising success.
Strong interpersonal and external representation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong project management with multiple deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency with Microsoft products.
Proficiency with CRM databases and thorough documentation.
Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Execute individual giving strategies in line with annual calendar and budget.
Drive annual fundraising appeals (mail, email, social media) in collaboration with team.
Grow the annual fund via employer matches, recurring giving, and non-cash gifts.
Expand legacy giving and coordinate with external partners.
Support peer-to-peer fundraising content and promotions.
Engage Habitat Dane staff to meet giving goals and foster philanthropy.
Build donor pipeline focusing on acquisition and mid-level gifts.
Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors through meetings and calls.
