Job summary

Goodman Community Center in Madison, WI seeks a strategic, mission-driven Vice President of Human Resources to lead the People & Culture function. Reporting to the President and serving on the executive team, this role will shape workforce strategy, culture, and comprehensive HR operations to sustain long-term impact.

You will oversee workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, compensation, HRIS, and vendor partnerships, while advancing DEI and change initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Expertise in employee relations, organizational development, and compliance.
• SHRM Certification required.

• Serve as a member of the executive leadership team.

We are seeking a strategic, mission-driven Vice President of Human Resources to lead our client’s People & Culture function. Reporting to the President and serving on the executive team, this role will drive workforce strategy, strengthen organizational culture, and ensure HR operations to support long-term mission impact.
