Job summary

Seattle City Flag is seeking a Community Partnerships & Development Coordinator to expand partnerships with Seattle-area small businesses, nonprofits, and sponsors. This independent contractor role emphasizes outcome-based work, flexible scheduling, and about five hours per week.

You will build a repeatable pipeline for sponsorships, donations, and revenue, reporting to the Executive Director/President and coordinating with program leads.

Qualifications

• Experience in partnership development, fundraising, sponsorships, donor relations, or related areas.
• Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to make clear partnership or funding requests and follow through consistently.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with Seattle-area businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations.
• Create pipeline of prospective partners and opportunities for activation.
• Secure partnerships involving magazine distribution, merchandise, events, and co-promotions.
• Document partnership models, materials, and revenue opportunities for future expansion.
• Represent Seattle City Flag at neighborhood events and partner meetings.
