You will plan outreach events, collaborate with local organizations, educate the public, and provide supportive assistance while maintaining thorough documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• A degree in public health, health education, communications, or related program preferred.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with diverse groups.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and prepare outreach events to reach residents without access to healthcare or health insurance.
• Build and strengthen enrollment collaborations with local partner organizations.
• Educate the community on medical outreach and educational programs.
• Provide health insurance enrollment and application assistance.
• Assist patients with sliding fee schedule applications and ensure documentation is complete.
• Help patients access resources (food, shelter, clothing, transportation).
• Provide medication assistance through partnering pharmacies and prescription programs.
• Prepare and gather reports; participate in community activities; document interactions and assistance.
