Living Redemption Community Development Corporation in Harlem, NY seeks a Community Engagement Specialist for the Atlas FFT program. You will lead outreach, form partnerships with neighborhood organizations, and connect referral partners with Atlas programming.

Ideal candidates have experience with high-risk populations, strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, and the ability to coordinate with program leadership, therapists, and families to support participants and community resources.

Competenze

• Experience with the criminal justice system as a returning citizen and not under supervision.
• Experience mentoring high-risk populations.
• Knowledge of pre-trial or re-entry programming.
• Understanding of homelessness, substance use disorder, unemployment, and self-motivation.
• Ability to provide references.

Mansioni

• Develop strategic partnerships with neighborhood CBOs to generate referral and resource partnerships.
• Collaborate on outreach strategies to build awareness of Atlas programming.
• Engage with the community, attend events, and support borough initiatives.
• Engage with Atlas Initiative stakeholders and agency referral partners.
• Coordinate with FFT Director and therapists on client engagement planning.
• Assist with crisis intervention, safety planning, and support for participants.
• Engage with participants’ families and provide referrals and support.
