Job summary

The ASPCA in New York City seeks a Community Engagement Coordinator to build partnerships with community organizations, assist pet owners, and coordinate services. You will participate in field visits, transport animals when needed, and support engagement plans with key stakeholders.

This on-site role is based in Long Island City, Sunday-Thursday, 9am-5pm, with a focus on outreach to human service groups and NYPD partnerships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2+ years in community services or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle history check.

Responsibilities

• Engage with community organizations and stakeholders to promote ASPCA services.
• Lead ASPCA events and trainings; build partnerships with social service agencies and law enforcement.
• Coordinate outreach plans and logistics for events; connect clients to services and referrals.
