Job summary

Batlin Recovery Center seeks a Community Outreach Specialist to build relationships with referral sources, raise brand awareness, and drive admissions to the facility. You will engage healthcare providers, hospitals, and community organizations to expand referrals while maintaining ethical outreach practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, behavioral health, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, marketing, outreach, or admissions within healthcare or behavioral health.
• Familiarity with Missouri regulations governing addiction treatment services and ethical marketing practices.
• Experience with referral sources, insurance providers, or community stakeholders in behavioral health.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to referral sites and networking events.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed for events and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic outreach initiatives to generate referrals and increase facility census.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including healthcare providers, hospitals, behavioral health agencies, criminal justice organizations, employers, and community organizations.
• Educate referral partners on the facility’s treatment programs and clinical services offered.
• Represent the facility at conferences, networking events, community meetings, and industry functions to enhance visibility and credibility.
• Track and analyze referral trends, conversion rates, and market demands to optimize outreach strategies.
• Work closely with the admissions team to ensure a seamless intake process for referred clients.
• Ensure all marketing and outreach efforts comply with ethical guidelines, Missouri state regulations, and federal laws regarding patient privacy and addiction treatment advertising.
• Develop and distribute educational materials, presentations, and other marketing content tailored to diverse referral sources.
• Conduct facility tours for potential referral partners, clients, and their families.
• Collaborate with the clinical and leadership teams to align business development efforts with treatment services and organizational goals.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in SUD treatment and behavioral health marketing.
