Job summary

Haven Behavioral Healthcare, an Oceans Healthcare Company, seeks a Community Liaison to develop and sustain relationships with referral sources and educate the community about psychiatric services.

You will implement the Education Plan, perform mobile assessments, and collaborate with hospitals and community facilities to increase program utilization while adhering to Joint Commission and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in marketing or advertising, preferably in medical/hospital settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, mass communications, business administration or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital operations and psychiatric programs preferred.
• Passes age/disability/cultural sensitivity skills tests and ongoing monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with community professionals to generate referrals to Adult and/or Geriatric Psychiatry Unit Programs.
• Performs mobile assessments.
• Makes 1:1 contact with community professionals.
• Initiates strategies to generate referrals and educates facilities and rural communities.
• Promotes specialty clinics to highlight the Psychiatry Unit's programs.
• Assists the Director in planning and implementing education strategies.
• Maintains monthly reports for department (lists, logs, newsletters, follow-ups).
• Analyzes marketing data to develop strategies.
• Reports to team members information affecting community education efforts.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
