Job summary

Malibu Jack's Springfield is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to promote the venue in the local community, build relationships with schools, businesses, and community partners, and generate new opportunities for group events, birthday parties, field trips, and fundraisers.

This role reports to the Regional Outreach Manager and collaborates with Marketing, Groups & Party Coordination, and park leadership to translate outreach into booked events and repeat visits, while representing Malibu

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age and have a HS diploma or GED.
Experience in community outreach, outside sales, or event coordination is preferred.
Proven ability to generate leads and build relationships with diverse partners.
Excellent verbal and written communication, organized, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Proactively reach out to local schools, businesses, churches, and community organizations to promote Malibu Jack’s as the go-to destination for group events.
Conduct in-person visits, presentations, and facility tours to showcase group event options and party packages.
Generate, manage, and follow up on new leads to book corporate events, fundraisers, field trips, and other group outings.
Maintain organized tracking of all leads, communications, and opportunities to ensure a seamless sales process.
Represent Malibu Jack’s at local networking events, festivals, expos, and community programs.
Assist with selected promotional initiatives and community events as needed.
