Job summary

Broward Community is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to work closely with the Community Outreach Manager to coordinate education, engagement, and outreach activities that increase awareness of BCOM programs and services. You will help strengthen community partnerships and support access to primary and preventive health care across diverse populations in Broward County.

Flexibility in hours is required, including occasional evenings and weekends; strong communication and organizational skills are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree in public health, healthcare administration, social services, or a related field preferred.
• At least two years of community outreach, community engagement, or healthcare-related experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating events, community partnerships, or outreach activities preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities and community-based organizations.
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and basic tracking and reporting tools.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
