Job summary

Brightpoint is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to build awareness of our mission and impact through community engagement, education, and strategic communication.

The role involves strengthening relationships with staff, programs, partners, volunteers, and Development efforts, to increase understanding of Brightpoint's programs and impact. It requires travel across the service area, flexible hours, and a commitment to Brightpoint Values.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years in a similar role.
• Comfort with public speaking and community outreach.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to travel in northeast Indiana and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen Brightpoint's visibility and relationships throughout the service area.
• Respond to community requests for information and coordinate follow-up.
• Serve as a bridge between community partners and Brightpoint departments.
• Support Client Outreach Committee with consistent messaging and representation.
• Engage audiences through social media and other channels, sharing feedback and opportunities.
• Apply Brightpoint Values at all times.
